The core of blogging, is to spread our thought about something, either through writings, or pictures. It just, blogging is about sharing. And, with sharing, blogger – the nicknames for people who blogs oftenly, get well-known by public.

Ways for spreading our thought through blogs, are provided by so many provider, even it was reliable. Name it! Wordpress, Blogger, until local content such as Dag Dig Dug, and also Blog Detik. And, all of the blogs provider didn’t take any payment! In other way, it’s FREE! And, of course, blogging is now easy.

Well, when blogging is now easy, it would be better if we had blogs. Why? Because now internet had been a world which live so many people who’s user on internet. And, through blogs we became the citizens of that world, and all people from around the world will know us.

So, how do we have blogs? Hmm… it’s a piece a cake! Just register yourself to one of so many blogs service provider, take a username, password, and then take the domain of your blogs (it’s look like website domain, but usually the domain was subdomain of the blogs service provider). After we had our domain address, choose the template/theme of our blogs (usually, the blogs service provider, had lots of it), and WALLA! We can go blogging.

If blogs are already had, oftenly we confused and can’t understand, how will it be the continuity of our blogs? Well, the most used ways to do it, just blogs! Writing and uploading pictures which we have through blogs publication, is a general blogging. But how if we just don’t used to write, or even upload pictures/photos? I’ll tell you how.

Ways to Blogs Effectively
Here few blogs which I done lately. If you feel confused/don’t understand, please comments on it. I’ll be waiting for the feedback.
1. Write what we like.
It could be our diary, our hobbies, things which we just seen/heard/felt of ANYTHING! Because, as I told before, the essence of blogging is sharing. So, just share anything!
2. Use the easy-to-understand languages.
The simple languages, like the languages which we use daily, are more easy-to- understand by the people who read our blogs. So, it will be easier to understand of what are we trying to share to them.
3. Don’t forget to use smile!
Because with smileys on our blogs, it will make our blogs and writings or postings, will be closer to our readers, lighter, and friendly.
4. English? Why not?
I said English, this is for people who don’t use English as their daily languages. English is an international language, and internet is an international network. To get the sympathy of international network, which the users all around the world, English would be the understandable language. But, if we like the local language – which in my case, Indonesia, because I live in Indonesia, it’s also okay. There’s no warnings not to use it.
5. Continue.
People who interested nor ever read our blogs, if they found something which is interesting, they would come back to seek the newest post of our blogs. And, the most effective to get their interest, is the blogs must have the continuity.
6. Up to date!
Well, this thing is the vital thing. Because, even though the previous 5 steps has already done, if it don’t up to date, I’m certain that our blogs visitor will loose their interest to keep reading our blogs. With publishing the posts which updated – whatever it will be, it would be more interesting than new post, but old news.
7. Blogwalking.
This way is quite effective to tell people and also most internet users, about the existence of our blogs. With blogwalking, usually it would be noted from where the visitor of our blogs. For example, if we visit the blogs on wordpress, so the origin of blogs will be noted. And, don’t forget to give comments in every blogs we visited! With commenting their posts, the blogs owner will visit back to our blogs, and they would be wanted to know further about the people who commented on their blogs.

The 7 ways of blogging effectively, doesn’t to be done all of it just to keep we blogs. You can take one of it, or none of it, the choice is yours. Because, we-ourselves know what and why we blogs than other people, right?

There’s one sentence which I remembered the most from the time of my beginning on learn to write long ago.

“The goal of writing is make an art piece, then publish it. If there’s none wanted to publish it, then do it yourself.”

Short. But, quite effective.

First time I heard that words, approximately on mid 2005, technology wasn’t like nowadays. On the 2005, especially on internet technology, still in ‘developing’ ages. What I mean here, is blogs. Or, in the early time, the word is weblogs.

Weblogs, or now we call it blogs, as long as I remembered, on 2005 wasn’t boomed like nowadays. So, there’s only a few people had a blogs in the internet as their personal media. For the rest, they used website – which (again) I think the platform is very different with blogs.

Back to the words which said by my mentor, blogs nowadays became the perfect media for writers to publish their works. On the blogs booming lately – proven with the held of pestablogger 2008 (blogger party 2008) with officially 1400s participants, not counting all those people which didn’t registered nor came bay – blogs really can make someone who’s only ordinary people, be well-known through their blogs on the internet.

Well, the indication of famous or not-famous from a someone’s blogs, was differed in 3 types. The first, was text blogging or blogging with just writing texts. So, people blogs and share their thought through their writings. Second, photo blogging. For this one, people share their though through pictures. Third, was the mix between text and photo blogging. In this type, people wasn’t just write for text, but also share through illustrations of pictures and photos.

As the title of this post and also the words from my mentor, true writer is them who could do the text blogging. They made their writings, and then because it wasn’t (yet) published by the book publisher, so they publish it through blogs. Of course, for a writer who loves to write, text blogging is the perfect way out. Just before their writings could gain the interest from the book publisher, publishing through blogs is the most effective way to make the writer’s name to be known by other people.

I myself had an opinion, text blogging is fit for writers. But, is it fit to reach the blogs readers to be stay loyal, and also make the writer’s name to be well-known by lots people? So, how it’d be? Is it photo-blogging? A writers is rare which also do some photography, but if yes, and capable of, why not?

Well, one solution which fits, is combine text and photos on blogs. So, it would be some illustrations to strengthen and add values for our writing text. This thing besides could strengthen the writing, also helps our writing’s readers, so they can imagine what kind of our writings really are. But of course, the pictures/photos must connected with our writings – if it’s not connected, it could be fatal.

My suggest, if you wanted to be a writer – or, had a profession as a writer, own and use blogs is a compulsory, so we could release some of our writings which pop out all in sudden. For the type of the blogs itself, will it be mixed text-photos, or text blogging only, it returns on ourself. Because actually, the real thing which come out from write, is the creation of theatre of mind. It’s about how to make the perfect imagine of our writings to our reader.

So, writers and blogging? Why not?

This term lately becomes hot news in internet, and especially in Indonesia. Why do I say Indonesia? Because, there’s more and more so many people who chose this profession to get paid for some money. Yep, Full-Time Blogger, whose blogging while earning some money. And, in internet it was generally did, especially abroad.

Blogger, is a term for people whose blogging. Blogging itself, means as writing something then make it publicly through blogs, which is personal, nor public owned. But, usually blogger made any publication through their own personal blogs.

Well, Full-Time Blogger was those people which is wrote something on their blogs, which can be reviews, articles, and so, then paid by the third party which serve on paid reviews. So, from a personal blogs, they can gain and earn some money with making postings on something, which can be products, individual, until politics!

I – myself, become interested in this profession, because I oftenly write. And, I do also like to surfing and browsing on the internet. Especially after I heard reviews from my close friends. Let just call one of them is Rijal, which is now earned about US $ 100-200 per month! Full history why he can did that, I don’t exactly. But, looks a like, it happened since he gained a scholarship to continue his study to Netherland.

Well, enough telling stories about Rijal. Let just talk about something which is more important. Definitely, so many questions came up after read out this posts. And, i do know exactly the question. “How? Please let me know!”

Well, to be a Full-Time Blogger, lots thing should be prepared. Such as, extern factors – internet connection, blogging materials, and so, and also intern factors – desire, hard working, and the most important one is, motivation. Because from many bloggers which I knew, they said motivation is the X-factor which is the most important to be a blogger.
